Education: Director's Profile



Michael St. G. Henry
is a proud product of Adventist Christian Education. Born in Kingston, Jamaica and having spent his formative years in the cool hills of Manchester and southern Trelawny, Pastor Henry has been educated at all levels “within the system”. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religion from West Indies College (now Northern Caribbean University) and a Master of Arts in Educational Administration from Andrews University. He is presently reading for the PhD in Leadership at Northern Caribbean University (NCU).

Pastor Henry has served in the public education system of the island of Jamaica, having taught at the elementary, secondary and tertiary levels. He has also served as Guidance Counselor and as Student Affairs Director in the vocational education system and in tertiary education. He has served the SDA church as district pastor, high school principal, college lecturer, conference education, youth and music director and union youth director. In addition to being Education Director of Jamaica Union, he also carries responsibility for Public Campus Ministries.
